The Morgenland Festival Osnabrück celebrated its 20th edition in 2024.

Many long-standing companions came as guests. In addition, there was a focus on the “Young Morgenland”. The 'Morgenland Youngsters' went on a trip to Azerbaijan and Turkey in March/April. They rehearsed and performed with young musicians in Baku and Istanbul. Everyone came together for the festival in Osnabrück and performed at the festival's closing concert. An ensemble curated by Levon Eskenian came from Yerevan especially for the festival.

The opening was played by members of the Morgenland All Star Band and the Morgenland Chamber Orchestra. Like every year, the 20th edition was also a festival of original productions. Golnar Shahyar and Atena Eshtiaghi met for the first time, as did Luigi Grasso, Moslem Rahal and Vahagn Hayrapetyan, the ensemble Zefiro Torna with Doron Schleifer, Alon Sariel and Haitham Haidar, the She trio with Sofia Labropoulou, Salman Gambarov with Michel Godard, Chris Jennings and Bodek Janke, Florian Weber with Jeff Ballard, Michel Benita, Mohannad Nasser Ensemble with Basma Jabr and Hasan and Rami Nakhleh met Lynn Adib. Further celebrated concerts were played by the Cham Saloum Ensemble, Tigran Hamasyan, Petros Klampanis with his Tora Collective and Yasamin Shahhosseini in collaboration with Mehdi Emami. With Hallo Psychaleppo and DJ Ipek, two great DJs were guests. Milad Khawam presented a solo program.

An exhibition showed sketches by the Syrian painter Fateh Moudarres, Kinan Azmeh and Florian Weber played music especially for the exhibition, based on themes by the painter, who was a passionate pianist.

The young Turkish graphic designer Reyhan Cengiz won a poster competition, and her design shaped the face of the festival.
