Yasamin Shahhosseini is a young composer and Oud player from Tehran, who explores quite new stylistic paths with the traditional lute-like instrument. Her improvisations draw their strength from tradition and at the same time they pulse with the drive of modern life. For the first time she will share the stage with the legendary Iranian Kamancheh virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor.
