A long-standing and fruitful collaboration connects the Morgenland Festival with the Osnabrück Symphony Orchestra. A historic guest performance in Tehran, several premieres and many other extraordinary concert projects document this cooperation, which culminates this year in the joint production of the music theatre piece "Songs for Days to Come" by Kinan Azmeh. Another joint project is presented by the young generation of Syrian artists in interaction with the Osnabrück Symphony Orchestra conducted by Daniel Inbal. The program of the open-air concert on the square in front of the cathedral features works by five composers, all of whom also take part as instrumental soloists.
