The 19-year-old artists from Cairo, Egypt, heard about the poster competition through friends and decided to submit a joint work. "We went our separate ways after school, but our friendship is still strong. Even though we are now studying at different universities, we still share a love of the same subject.  What sets us apart is Mariam's love of sport, especially tennis, which she has been playing since the age of five, and her passion for drawing, sketching and trying out new things. And Zeina's love of photography, playing the violin and piano since the age of 6 and exploring new countries and cultures. We look forward to many more years of shared experiences and growth."
