Closing Concert of the 10th Morgenland Academy

We are delighted to invite you to the Closing Concert of the 10th Morgenland Academy, taking place on

After an intensive week of musical exchange, the young musicians of the 10th Morgenland Academy will present the results of their collaborative work. Under the artistic direction of the renowned musicians Nemat Battah (oud, vocals), Mahan Mirarab (multi-neck guitar), and Bernhard Schimpelsberger (percussion), participants from Germany and Greece have explored new sonic landscapes and created music together through improvisation.

The works performed during this concert were developed throughout the Academy in a spirit of creative exchange and spontaneous collaboration. They bring together the rich traditions of Arabic and Persian music with fresh musical ideas and contemporary artistic expression.
