„Widerstand – Von feinen Rissen und tiefen Erschütterungen“

The exhibition “Resistance – Of Fine Cracks and Deep Tremors” at Kunstraum hase29 presents works by Parastou Forouhar, Nazanin Noori, Homa Emami, and Anahita Razmi, addressing forms of resistance in today’s tense and turbulent times.

The artists, all of whom have biographical connections to Iran, explore personal as well as socio-political conflicts in a striking aesthetic manner. In doing so, questions of belonging in the diaspora intersect with issues of identity and processes of transformation, creating a field of tension between individual experience and collective history.
