Kunstraum hase29

The Kunstraum hase29 – Gesellschaft für zeitgenössische Kunst Osnabrück e.V. is a young art association located at Hasestraße 29/30 in the heart of Osnabrück. Founded in early 2016 by around 40 active artists and art enthusiasts in the premises of a former shop, the association now regularly presents exhibitions and projects on contemporary art both in its exhibition space, hase29, and in the public urban environment. By 2023, the association had grown to approximately 150 members, with numbers continuing to rise.

Its mission is to make contemporary art accessible to a broad audience and to highlight the potential of artistic research for engaging with the present. Through exhibitions, accompanying events, and a variety of educational formats, hase29 seeks to open up new perspectives and foster an active dialogue with contemporary artistic practices.
