Kinan Azmeh is curating the 21st edition of the Morgenland Festival Osnabrück.

As a Damascene/ New Yorker who feels at home at the intersections of culture, I felt it would be only natural to draw from the wide artistic expressions that I have been exposed to throughout my artistic life.  The 21st edition of the festival will focus on artists who are also dear friends who feel comfortable in a multitude of identities. These are global musicians who travel seemlessly between genres, categories and geogaphical and cultural homes.  The program in short: This is music that is inspired by a multitude of traditions without being limited by any of these traditions. I am excited to welcome you to my second home, Osnabrück!
